Nick Phillips is currently employed by Innovative Percussion Inc. where he serves as the Assistant Marketing Manager, overseeing the majority of artist relations for the company.  He is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University where in the fall of 2004 he earned his bachelor of Music Industry degree, studying under Lalo Davila, Andy Smith, and Julie Hill.  While at MTSU, Nick performed with the wind ensemble, percussion ensemble, the Band of Blue, Salsa Band, among many other ensembles.  He was also a member of the 2001 and 2004 PASIC College Marching Percussion Champion drumlines.  Nick’s drum corps experience includes two years marching tenors for the Glassmen (2001 & 2002) and one year with the Magic of Orlando (2003). 

Nick has instructed many groups in the Middle Tennessee area, including the MTSU Band of Blue drumline in the fall of 2004.  He currently resides in Antioch with his wife Pam.
