Well, Marianna, if you are the craziest Johnny O Girl, what are Kate and I? I think Kate is definitely the Gregiest, but what am I? I need an adjective. We can be identified by them. Yo, visor guy! About the whole Mr. Spear thing- alot of people aren't sure what's going to happen to our band in the next few years since he is now the director at McMurray!! Hmmm.... He comes to all of our rehersals, though, which is probably a good thing because that means that he'll hopefully do a good job promoting the band. But he made a slightly mean comment to me on Saturday. I saw him and told him that it was nice of him to come down with us for the contest and he replied that it was nice of us to pay him. Hey everybody!! I wanted to say congrats on the awesome show this past weekend at MTSBOA!! My dad tapes all of our shows, and he got your's on the tape too, and when I saw it I was like WOW! I really, really like your opener!! You guys are going to have an awesome show this year (as always!) I also wanted to say hi to a couple of cool guys I met. Marianna and I were sitting in your section during the contest, and we talked with somebody (that happened to be very cute- Andrew, maybe?) about Mr. Spear. And then right before we left some guy on the back of one of the buses gave us high fives. Whoever you are, you rock! Also, I have sort of a special request to make. I was wondering if any of you know a guy named Marshal McDade (sp?). He's in eighth grade and plays french horn, and I think he'll be at your school next year. If you know him PLEASE TELL ME!!! Congradulations seniors for making it all four years at band camp. The best time is yet to come. Have as much fun as you can even if it makes people mad. Your only there for one more year and after that your off to college. Don't get me wrong though, college is the best time of my life but I just wish I could of done some things like have fun in the cominghome parade my senior year but I guess Mr. Beckman doesn't like that. Oh, Hi Mr. Beckman, long time no see. Anyways, just do whatever you want. Keep up with all the traditions drumline, I got in trouble for most of them, so be careful. Take it easy. See you at MTSU.

Congradulations to the seniors that made it through all four years of band camp. Just make sure you raise hell during your last marching season, trust me, Mr. Beckman loves it. Just remeber its your last year so have fun. To the drumline make sure you keep up with all the traditions that we got in trouble for, and try to take it easy on Mr. Casey. Be sure you bug Mr. Crocker though. Take it easy and have fun, and maybe I'll see you at MTSU next year..

I drove by the "old" band room today. Not much has changed. Not much has changed in the spirit you guys have either. Marching band was the world to me a billion years ago and I have to say my interest in it waned tremendously (confession - haven't been to COC in 5 years). However, this web site is really cool and it's so exciting to see that the Big Mac pride is alive and well! Good Luck to all! Hi JEFF BECKMAN!!!! John told me he saw you. Hope you're ok! Hey, McGavock Band! Glad to see you are still working hard and making us old alums proud! I graduated in '84. Jeff Beckman was my percussion instructor all 4 years. I'll never forget the night we won COC in '82! We reclaimed the Governors Cup and were crowned Grand Champions! That was the greatest feeling in the world! I hope you have a successful year.
