THE FIRST BAND BOOSTER/PARENT MEETING HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.  All Band Parents are expected to attend band booster meetings and volunteer, fundraise, and cheer on your student throughout the year.  It takes everyone to help ensure the successful operation of the program.  Currently, the band booster board is still finding a path forward and will communicate more details as they begin their work.  We will post and announce the first parent/booster meeting once it is finalized.  Meetings usually occur in the North East Cafeteria or in the Band Room. The current board for 2023/24 is President, Matthew Sneed, Vice President, Martha Lopez, Secretary Misty Crowell, Treasurer, Chilyere Smith. The booster board will need to fill in a few positions and will be reaching out to positive, energetic, resourceful, and supportive parents as they move forward.

MUSIC/INSTRUMENTS

Music Links will be provided soon for downloading stands music, warm-ups, show music, etc.  Please practice prior to full band rehearsals to be as prepared as possible.  Any student needing instruments should see Mr. DePriest at the first rehearsal to check out a school owned instrument. UNIFORMS

We will debut brand new, custom designed marching band uniforms this year!  All students will be responsible for turning in uniform items in a neat and orderly fashion after every performance.  Students must provide their own long black socks, black marching band shoes, and compression wear under their uniform.  Students must ensure all items are stored properly and take responsibility for them.
