Mr. David DePriest is now the new Assistant Director of Bands at McGavock High School. Mr. DePriest has most recently served as Co-Coordinator of Percussion and Winter Drumline the last two years as well as Class Piano and his multi-faceted, positive, and engergetic approach will benefit the entire band moving forward. Mr. DePreist is a proud McBand alumni and his passion for the band is contagious.  Zack Stewart will return as percussion coordinator this year and assume that role. We wish Mr. Womack success as he leaves to go to MLK Magnet as one of the directors and will miss him and appreciate his four years of dedication and contributions to the McGavock Band program.
